Should the truck or the trailer carry the graphics?
- On a rig that goes through tow vehicles faster than trailers, the trailer. It is the larger flat surface, it is what the driver behind reads, and it stays in the business longer. Where both are covered we draw them as one design carried by two independent sets of panels, so replacing the pickup does not orphan the trailer.
Can a delivery truck be wrapped when the lower panels are already dented?
- Dented is usually workable. Corroding is not. Film follows a shallow dent and hides very little of it, and over rust at a seam it releases there first and then pulls the panel around it loose. We inspect that band before quoting, and we will recommend leaving it in paint rather than covering something already on its way out.
Can a distribution fleet be done without losing a truck off the route board?
- Not entirely: a truck in a bay is a truck off the board. What is negotiable is the order, and here the board sets it rather than the shop. We take the unit that costs least to lose in a given week and book the next one against the same test.
